Happy Halloween from the McMahon lab!
Now that the research hives are closed up for the winter, we found another way to put our bee suits to use!
This past week, we showed our passion for bees by dressing up for the Graduate Student Association’s Halloween event.
Sarah, Ella, and Keith (left to right) dressed as two beekeepers and a bee and showed their Vandy pride.
Our bee covered her face to mitigate the effects of the smoker!

While we didn’t win the group costume contest, we brought the Halloween spirit!
